The school house in Moombrooke is the most NW building there. Hint: go when there is alot of activity with groups forming up to do the Deadmines - they'll keep the Defias guys busy so you can look around unmolested. The "box" (which is what you're looking for as it turns out) blends in with the visual scenery, but roll your mouse slowly along and around the ledge in the back until you see the gear thingie pop up - open it and you'll get your letter - also - a spirit will pop up which seemed fairly benign but since i couldnt figure out what else to do i killed her and she gave me a neet skull gizmo. its supposed to be held off-hand and im a two handed kind of guy so i ended up selling it off to make room - what can I say - dumb. Shoulda stuffed it in the bank for later

Picked up in darkshire while on another quest - this chain runs you around a bit and is quite long - go to Clerk Daltry to proceed - its just down the street
