Pet's for every situation, heres my made list which is only MY opinion so others might not think it as same.
CAT = Good DPS and as NE hunter u can stealth urself and ur pet. (Claw does dmg and Prowl makes invisible, also has Dive kind of ability)
WOLF = only Furious Howl will help the hunter alot, otherwise pet has a dot and its not good looking at the Freezing Traps and Scatter Shot (Rend)
BEAR = Good tanking nothing else to use (Claw does lil dmg)
BOAR = Very good PvP pet in my opinion, Charge rulez forever becuz it immobilizes target for 1 sec and it has helped me alot like helping me run from horde :D (Charge gives AP to next attack on the pets dmg)
BIRD = Screech is good against warriors and rogues and hunters.
How in PvP:
CAT = Good dps and able to stealth (so nme wont see ur pet)
WOLF = Furious Howl makes good AP for ur Aimed Shot
BEAR = Sucks, always laughs at hunters who use bear in pvp, what does it do? keep aggro? xD
BOAR = Charge ftw, immobilizes nme so u get time to run away and shoot or just help Flag Carrier by slowing nmes behind.
BIRD = Screech is good and may remove stealthed nmes if they come too close when screech is performed. Dive is good too but when used u cant catch the enemy becuz pet cant slow his speed
My choose in PvP Realm: Boar, good stamina armor and charge if needed :)
and in PvE Realm: Bear or Boar, for tanking.
If u want more DPS use cat or BIRD. (BIRD means also BAT, i was talking bout the pets who fly u know)
