Power Leveling [Anti-AH]

This would be almost be my 3rd week in WoW. I have hit lvl 30, yet at the same time my friend which started just a week after I did is already lvl 36.
I have the knowledge that she is not a Beta tester, and I also know that I play at least a total of 10 hours more than her a week.

I have come to the conclusion after days of hard research :fist: That she is not a casual AH participant. I usually spend 2-3 hours of my gaming time in IF looking at the items the glorious AH has to offer. She however only visits once every 5-7 levels to renew her gear. Personally I believe that going on an AH retreat would greatly increase leveling progress for anyone between lvls 1-40.

hehe well spending your time doing anything other than leveling would be detrimental to leveling.
the fastest way to level is not the kill the hardest monsters, but to kill the monsters which gives the most xp without having to stop to rest. this means nonstop killing, basically grinding.

Right. Also, when you hit a town, grab all the quests you can, even if you don't plan on completing them. Then head out and get your kills.

But most importantly, enjoy the time it's taking to level. This game is great, and suck up as much as you can. Believe me, you'll be sitting at 60 soon enough twiddling your thumbs. No, instances are not REAL fun after like 15 runs each. Boooooring....!

Also in WoW they have this feature if you dont play for a certain amount of time you get more expercience when you do play so it is more fair for the serious gamers vs the average one or noobs too so is probably another big reason.

Worrying about items before you are level 40 or so is pointless - you get levels so fast that you'll outgrow most of them in a day or two anyways. Skip the IF routine and do quests and stuff, you'll catch up to your friend soon enough. :)

agreed, i dont upgrade my gear for like every 7-10 levels, and im about to hit 52 on my hunter with 9 days play time, ive been to IF maybe 3 times, so just try something new

On my paladin I *couldn't* upgrade my gear, at least not at the AH... I think I'm still wearing level 18 legs when I'm level 30.
