well, Ive been avoiding it for some time now, but I feel its time to face the inevitable
on sunday morning I will be leaving to visit my in-laws and begin packing. Their internet is not currently working, so its likely that I will not be able to post.
on August 18th (thursday) I will be leaving my in-law's house for Reykjavik Iceland.
I will be in Reykjavik for 4 months to complete my student teaching semester at the US naval air base.
It is very possible that I will not have internet access in my apartment and will be unable to play WoW. Even if I do have internet, it is possible that my schedule will be too demanding for WoW.
I was hoping that the server would be out before I had to leave and I could have at least some time to play. However, after a month of waiting, the server still does not exist.
Id like to thank you all for making me feel so welcome in The Frozen Inn community. In all my MMO experiance, i have never met a group of people like TFI. There is no one I would rather share my WoW experiance with.
hopefully, my fears will turn out to be false and I will still be able to part of the Frozen Inn. However, I cannot deny the possiblity that it simply will not work out.
most likely, if you do not hear from me by a week from sunday, than you probably will not hear from me again. I will continue to post until I leave though.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooo /cry
It will be a very sad loss for TFI, i hope you have a wonderfull time though, good luck with your teaching.
And remember - You will always be a Member of the frozen inn and a true friend to all of us. We hope you have a wonderful time and Hope to hear from you again in the winter .
May Elune be with you.
PS ( come back to Wow anytime and we will be sure to let you come back, no matter what happens. You Will Be behind, but hey, who said the underdog isnt the best? We hope to play with you again, i will put you definetly in my book lol)

Can you get into us servers from iceland?
from what I understand... as long as you have a US version of the game and have logged on to the US servers with your CD key... you can play on US servers
In my last guild, there was a military guy playing from Okinawa Japan
The only problems might be the lag and time differance (Iceland is 5 or 6 hours ahead of my current time zone [central] depending on daylight savings time)
Thank you for all the kind words.... I will miss you all too
I think the worst part of the whole deal is that I do not know if I can play or not... Id rather know for sure that I cant than having to wonder about a possibility :Curved:

Zul'Gurub and Arathi Basin are 1.7.0 (next content patch). The patch is almost complete with a few minor hitches. Then it goes to QA and then the test server. After that it gets patched live.
Ahn'Qiraj is 1.9.0 or later. It's a massive zone.
1.8.0 has some pretty cool stuff. We haven't announced any of that content yet but we'll try to get some information out soon.
that was quoted by blue... 3 days ago....another months wait.....

Well, the good news is... Internet exists in Iceland :)
bad news... its dial up, but it seems pretty fast
next order of business is to see how well it runs WoW
another bit of good news... both my brothers have decided to play WoW... hopefully i can convince them to join the RP/PVP realm before they get too high level
