Yep you read correctly... Infinity has been reborn, in horde clothes.
Class/Race undecided as of now but I needed a change of scenery.
Although my class/race is undecided ATM I will have it set by tommorow night and will post my background and all that jazz. I'm torn between undead warlock and tauren hunter. Enough babble just wanted to let you know you will no longer have the opportunity to mass gank me.

that said good to have ya, how much pie can we put you down for?
Go tauren hunter! Then I can quest with ya.
Besides, we need your overpowered hunter skillz to kick some alliance around.

Hehe ... I need a change of scenery. I decided on warlock, and don't worry i'm sure i'll catch onto the class quickly. The PvP knowledge is there... just need the class knowledge.
EDIT - This is not set in stone and knowing my fickle nature I may just roll a Tauren Hunter come Day one... We'll see what happens

Welcome! This is definitely great news for the Horde :Guns:
Don't worry about finalizing your character, lol... I'm switching almost on a daily basis. Just leave it as a suprise, lol.

Nothing about my character is set in stone. I keep having epiphanies. The Warlock faction in my head is screaming the loudest right now but I've decided not to change any of my info till I actually get a character up at launch.
Anyhow, great to have you on our side, Infinity :)
Oh, now that I think about it, ONE thing about my character is set in stone...
FOR THE HORDE!!!!! (and pie)
Even I have had thoughts of changing my class. While druid is my favorite class, I can't help but think a Warrior would be fun also. I've only had 4 or 5 20-30 lvl warriors, but I really find the whole tanking thing fun.

Don't go the Warrior path, Togo. Druid, you will find, is much more appealing. Plus Druids are getting the buff in 1.7, Warriors are getting the nerf bat... hard.
Speaking of Warrior... My invis potions and overuse of the intercept ability will allow me to destroy you puny munchkins! Really. I use intercept are every given situation, it rocks my socks.
All they are doing is lowering +Defense gear by 33% across the board. It only effects tanking a tiny bit. Now instead of a base defense of a lvl 100 character they can only go up to 80ish.
Besides, all the buff was a catform change. A nice little increase in dps it is though.
Edit: My bad, it is more then +Defense gear, but it's still not really a nerf.
A 1hour cooldown only attacks 30 times when struck, the Unstopable force went through a red light, some stuns can now be resisted, and you can no longer do the cheesy macro weapon swap anymore.

Yeah, some of those warrior changes suck. But the only change I care about is the friggin' global cooldown when you weapon swap. Fury warrior nerf yay. D:
Though I still plan on going fury. Cause I like the utility of lots of rage to use on more than just damage skills.

Whether it's a nerf or not I like the weapon swap cooldown thing. It makes a hell of a lot more sense.
And how specifically is it a fury warrior nerf, not just a general warrior nerf?

Just roll with the punches... if you can play your class well nerfs won't sting nearly as much.

Well I suppose protection warriors are too, but the thing being is that dual wielding with fast weapons with fury ends up generating a hell of a lot of dodges on your enemy. And overpower (which is based on WEAPON DAMAGE and is instant) is available on a dodge from the enemy. So the general idea is to macro in a weaponswap overpower for some of the only burst damage you will get in fury (besides that silly bloodthirst thing). And most arms warriors constantly have a twohander up, so it doesn't affect them so much.
I mean, it DOES make sense, and I wouldn't care so much except for my class plans.

What Insipid said is true - no other specs than fury rely damage output on the weapon swap.
Also, logically speaking, but how the hell are you going to "overpower" an opponent with a puny one handed sword anyway?

My aim is in my profile.. i may just take you up on that. After playing 2 hunters to 60 playing a warlock will be fun to learn.

Warlocks are like the hidden gem. They have so much utility and some of the best groups I have ever been in had a warlock. Sad thing is.. they are just so rare presently. I haven't been in a party with one for over two months at least. Great to have another warlock in the guild!

The whole soulshard thing turns me off. :(

Once you learn how to farm for soulshards, and learn how to be very conservative with them, it's not that bad of a stigma. Though I never got past 15 on a lock, so I cant say anything on endgame difficulties, though i heard It's not rough, most especially if you're an Affliction 'lock

I never understood what it is that 'locks do that consumes so many soulshards. Do a bunch of their high-level spells need them as a reagent or something?

A few critical pvp spells require the reagent, so basically you have to spend at least 2 or 3 shards to win any pvp fight, let alone a hard one.

Out of curiosity(and for information since whether I make a 'lock here or not, I do have one on Shadow Councill), what spells are those?

Enough spells have a soul shard requirement that Blizzard pretty much "nickles and dimes" warlocks to death. You get at most 1 shard per fight, but in PvP you'll probably use more.
Some Key spells using shards would be healthstones, soulstones (if up), pet summon, pet re-summon (if you sacrafice or use vw shield), shadowburn (instant dd), and soulfire (like pyroblast) I hear enslave demon and banish will eat anywhere from 1 to 10 shards based on how hard you try and control your level 50 / 60 summons.. At least this is what I've seen so far practicing with a warlock until the rp pvp server comes out :)
