Hello everyone. Ive been sighed up for the Bloodmoon Tribe since the original post on the WoW Forums but I rarely if ever post. (On that forum I was Vyral). I figured since to day is the 1.7 patch I would post my back-story for everyone to read. Enjoy her darker past of torture and torment. :Dead:

Selene Drakus was a gifted child born in Stormwind to a wealthy family. She lived her life lavishly for many years, but on her sixth birthday that all changed. Upon blowing out her candles she saw what looked to be a demonic face looking up at her through her cake. The face looked at her with a sinister glair before melting back into the frosting of the cake. She screamed and fell backwards, scaring her guests and throwing her cake into the wall. For weeks she tried to explain to others what she had saw, until it happened again. While on horseback, riding through Elewynn forest, Selene peaked out into a distant farm where she saw the undead faces of all the farmers, as if they where plagued. She voiced what she saw again, but no one seemed to see the same things. Her visions of shadow demons and undead people continued to plague her for nearly four months. Her parents researched her condition but found nothing related to it. Five months after she turned 6, Her parents came back from their research to tell their daughter it must be a Warlock condition, and that she would be trained in the ways of dark magic so that she could better control her powers. Selene was excited; she had read stories of heroes who used dark and light magic, and dreamt of power to save lives, and what she would do with her life. Unbeknownst to Selene however, her parents where disgusted with her affinity to dark magic and thought it was a stain upon their name. They had hired a pair of Asylum guards to dress as warlocks and take her away, and erase her from their family name.

Selene was placed into a small room. To the right of the door was her bed, it had one small thin blanket and no pillow, and lay on the floor. To the left were a bucket and a food tray. Selene turned to ask about the room but the door slammed shut in her face, and she was left with only one candle light. She instantly started screaming and pounding on the door but no one came for her. Selene looked over the cell hoping to learn what had happened, but found nothing but stone walls and the faint sounds of others screaming. Her first week in that cell she spent trying to learn where she was, it was not until feeding time on the third day she was answered with two words, “The Asylum”. Selene was devastated at the betrayal of her parents. Her candle had nearly burnt out, and on the fifth day, darkness filled her cell.

The First few years where spent counting days and creating tools out of bones left in her cell. She learned to routines. Every week the cell was cleaned and she was sent to a new cell. She never saw light until feeding time when her door opened a slot at the bottom that placed a tray in the cell. Every cleaning time she lost her tools and made new ones, but the silence of the cell was maddening, and slowly killing her mind. Sometime around Twelve years of age Selene started to get the visions again. The shadows moved within the cell scaring her. She often felt like she was being watched and saw men standing in her room where none stood before. Whispers grew louder in her room and day by day her screams filled the cells. Time started to feel erratic, and her body was dieing on her, her eyes made the darkness glow lightly and she could almost “see” but it was not a physical sight she had attained. To stay alive she ate insects from her cell, using her food she was given to attract them, and then eat the rotting food after.

For years Selene lived with these horrors in her room, but her torment did not end here. She was adult now, somewhere around nineteen or twenty when the visions got much worse. Bodies hanging, glimpses of hell and grotesque humanish forms started to show themselves. She knew they where created of the madness in this room, its like she was seeing people who lived but have since been long dead. The images where getting so clear that details where being made out. In an effort to bore them out of her mind, she used a pair of sharp pointed bones to tear her eyes from her sockets. Her hearing became acute with the loss of her eyes, but her other sences where all but gone, only her hearing, and the feeling of pain remained. The visions however stopped, and only the whispers could be heard.

More time passed and Selene started talking to herself. The guards would hear her talking to the walls with great details. In her mind, she was cell mates with someone; she could hear the voices as clearly as two people talking over lunch. From time to time she would grow silent as the voices stopped. Selene learned how to move around her cell silently, so quietly she could not hear herself. She created more tools of intricate design using only bones and her own body. She grew to tell time based upon feeding times, learned to count it in her mind and even trained herself to meditate, to calm herself and to clear her mind. Although the voices never stopped in her mind, she grew calmer.

The Cell guards where now becoming worried. Each cleaning time they would find things, things no blind woman could do. Rat bones where arranged together in dream catchers, colored red and brown from blood. Seneles wrists where scarred all over from her “paintings” and murals on her walls created of scratches from loose stone and bones showed horrors only the hells could have spawned. These images where giving even guards nightmares. Pictures of the former cell inmates, who died long past where also being drawn on the floors. Her bed was torn apart, the pieces used in tools. Selene concluded she was nearly thirty when her entire room was scribed with images.

Not long after her room was filled, she was fed abnormally late. Blinded and with no sense of taste she could never have known the food she was eating was infested with the undeath plague. For two nights her dreams where filled with the sorrowful memories of deaths in that cell. She could feel the walls speaking to her, telling their stories. Her body went into decay and her mind lapsed. She recalled her last breath, and a tear remembering the day she was placed there. Selene died at age forty one. It was classified as mal nutrition, and she was buried in the Crypts.

The Third war had already spread, and most of Arthas’s minions where gone. Selene was seeing herself in the fields near her home, playing in the golden wheat stalks and the tall greed grass. It felt like but a moment, and she was torn from that into a new sort of prison.

Lying there in the basements of a crypt, she opened her eyes for the first time. The world was filled with strange colors; it was not as she remembered it. She lifted her hand to see the aura of her stagnated spirit twitching in her corporeal shell. Tentacles created of blues and purples protruded from her body, ethereal in nature and seemingly harmless. Her fingers went to her eye sockets to find they to where empty, and yet she could see. She glanced to the walls, and the voices whispered in near silence at her, divulging memories to her as if they themselves where alive. She slowly cracked her every bone and muscle, moving to stand for the first time in undeath, seeing the spirits of all, the memories imbedded into the walls, the essences of the world. Her mind quickly bent itself upon revenge for what had become of her. She heard as she stood, a smack and looked down to see a letter sitting on the floor. To her mind, the world was always blurred; the letter seemed to be creating a second and third see through version above it. She reached down and looked at the letters. Upon the letter was “Bloodmoon Tribe”. It explained how they had learned of her past and that she was being offered a chance to join their community to fulfill her childhood dream of creating a peace in this world. Selene sat, rereading the letter several times before finally deciding that it would be best. She knew what Revenge would do to a person, and did not wish it deep down. She filled out the forms with it, and realized she had no specializations. This too, would take time to think about.

She thought about the few pages of rules and benefits to this tribe founded by what she considered to be one eccentric Tauren who played with technology. She had learned to spend time, and use patience in her life if anything, and after a long time of lying in that crypt made up her mind. She would use her eyes, her ability to see the spirits of all things to guide her hand. She would use her patience and calm to stay in the shadows and her slight powers in necromancy to learn the ways of the thief. Here, now with her mind made up and her broken body freed she must face life without falling back into the mindless anger for the human race, and resist the need for revenge that would undoubtedly cost her life again. She knew this journey would cost her much, but she was not sure what that cost would be nor if she could pay it. One thing was certain, the moment she chose to step out of that crypt, she would have one choice, her lust for revenge upon her family and the human race, or her Honor and childhood dreams.

EDIT: I made the story a bit longer for those who wanted to go back and see a bit more of her time in the Asylum.

Sorry about putting in the wrong place, haven’t looked around the site to much.

About the patch, its almost always two to three weeks after the previous patch, also I read they shut down the test server so I was taking a guess.

I had no idea there was another Seline out there, it should be easy to remember you now. See you all in game when the server comes out! Untill then feel free to post Vyral on Earthen Ring, im a lot meaner as a human warlock :Teeth: She is alot of fun.

Anyways the community is still growing even without mass postings in forums, which is obviously a good thing. Looks like we should have a very good thing whenever this ges started.
