Character: Badrock, Orc, 21 Rogue
Experience: Well as far as MMORPG experience goes:
Dark Age Of Camelot: First MMORPG. Had a shadowblade and ran with a guild called Der Einherjar. Small guild but great camaraderie. Left the game though because a friend convinced me to play Everquest.
Everquest: 45+ Paladin… felt like a job and I was craving PvP
Shadowbane: Co-founder of a guild called Bloodright. I helped lead a small band of mercenaries to glory.. too bad our city got hacked =(
Final Fantasy XI: 60+ Bard/WHM. I created the linkshell Azure Twilight. Casual Guild with 20+ dedicated players. Great group of people, they even kept the linkshell going when I had to take care of life problems for half a year. I wish they followed me to world of warcraft =(. I still keep in touch with them to this day.
World of Warcraft: 60 Druid Alliance. I was an officer for this guild. The core members consisted of people who I have played shadowbane and counter-strike with. Great guild, everyone was so helpful.
Character Background: Sorry, I don’t have much of a character background or a natural ability to RP. I just tend to go to these types of servers because the players seem to take the game environment a little bit more seriously.
I RP’d for the first time when I joined the server though.. went something like this:
Orc Warrior: Loktar(sp?) Badrock! Are you off to slay those wretched trolls to the islands in the south? If so, let me join you so we can rid these unruly creatures from our homeland! What say you brother?
Me: ok.
Miscellaneus/Personal Statement: I love the online gaming world. Other than the numerous mmorpg guilds I have been apart of. I also cofounded and helped lead a counterstrike clan called The Killer Inside. Had 40+ members with different types of backgrounds. We even hung out together from time to time.
I seen you guys around and whenever I do a /who bloodmoon, I rarely see a member roaming a zone by themselves. From what I see in the forum, you guys seem like the type of people I have played mmorpgs with and I would like to join your ranks.
