Rogue Daggers Swap to Swords/Mace (Macro)

Ok... now i have seen this on a number of sites but never actually got a full answer, and i was just wondering if anyone here had the answer.

Dual Daggers is obviously a key part of a rogues skills, however the rogues Sinister Strike is best with a slow yet powerfull sword or mace in the main hand... soooo....

What i am after is the code needed to write a macro that switches between weapon sets of Dagger 1 and Dagger 2... to Sword 1 and Dagger 1. and then the obbosite way.

There are UI MODS around that will do it for you, i believe that "ULTIMATE UI" that you can download from here has that capablity (but don't quote me on that)....if not then there is another around here somewhere that does it.

I would also like to know how this works for my warrior, id rather the code for a macro so i can link it to my stances using DAB.

I use a mod called Weapon Quick Swap for doing this on my rogue

It allows you to macro swapping both hands at the same time, as well as just enter the weapon names. This lets you keep the weapons you aren't using anywhere in your inventory, some other mods require you to have the weapons in the same backpack slot which is annoying in my opinion.

just stick with daggers........sinister strike is really only a tool to build up combo points for eviscerate, slice and dice, or expose armor. plus, u can still do backstab that way.

Alright well I use a nice little mod called "Usebyname (http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=108) " and what this does is allow you to make macros and just /usebyname to use the item.

So I made two macros for my warrior one for battle stance and one for defensive stance

Battle-
/cast Battle Stance
/usebyname searing blade(2h)

Defensive-
/cast defensive stance
/usebyname Redbeard crest(shield)
/usebyname Cruel Barb (1h sword)

That way I can easily switch between either or them. You could easily manipulate these for swapping daggers/swords and even whole armor sets.

Careful, as this, even with the best mod/ui/macro weapon swapping causes a 1 second delay, and that sucks a lot when you're trying to time your ambush/backstab or cheap shot for stun locks. Honestly though, I've seen lots of "hybrid" rogue talent builds which rely on an ambush/bs opener and then using SS to build up the combo points, and I think they're silly.

Here's what I think, if you want to use swords, create a build (like 21-3-27 hemo) designed for swords (or a combat build like 20-31-0) and if you want to use daggers, use a dagger build (17-24-10 or 21-8-22, or 30-8-13/31-8-12). But if there's a time when you need to use just swords (onyxia for instance) keep them out the whole time, swapping is a waste of time which = dps. dps = pwnage
