In the middle at "The Dragonblight, there is a Skeleton of some kind, and its easy to see that this is "Home Made". If you zoom in you can see that the pixels doesn't match at all, a really bad made Copy paste try :\ I'll post a pic so you can see it for yourself.

It doesn't apear to be much till you realize where this if from... These pictures are taken from the background of the World of Warcraft Behind the Scenes DVD. Meaning these detailed and well thought out drawings were drawn by the developers (or at least someone hired by them)
Also Blizz seems to be going in order of power for their expansions
Powerful Dragons -> Weakened old gods -> WC3 supporting heroes -> Really powerful dragons (Deathwing) -> Kil'Jadin -> Azshara -> Old god at full strength -> Arthas -> ???? -> Sargaras
Also Blizz has said that we will likely encounter Arthas no earlier then level 90. And as far as the emerald dream goes; its a good concept, and has great potential, but lacks significant content to provide a enjoyable playing experience (you got the nightmare and then what else... there is only one main boss in there!)
(now becouse people yelled at me before I am saying that these are all opinions and none of this can be proven as fact, no matter how convincing it may appear... Blizzard can and probably will pull another 'Draeni' out of their hat)

May 23, 2007 - 12:06 pm [ Reply ]This is a Photoshopped picture. You can tell by the way the shorelines don't blend into the sea, but are rather pretty much cut off after a set length by the 'sea water'. The coloring is also too smooth and looks unrefined.
Very good attempt, though. It definitely caught my eye.

You mean no evidence points to the great sea being the next expansion? The only evidence points to either Northrend or the Emerald Dream as the next one.

May 18, 2007 - 11:22 am [ Reply ]This is obviously fake, however I give you points whoever made it. The only way you could of seen these files is if you went into Blizzard HQ and hacked into their development server. Not to mention all evidence points to the great sea being the next expasion with maybe the tip of Northrend being accessible. Also the positioning of the towns is highly illogical, three towns in one zone and zero in two others?

May 18, 2007 - 12:08 am [ Reply ]aye I know Kanaru and i know your reputation is very good at finding out the truth, however, im not really sure that even with this blizz will keep this map, probability is, it'llg et leaked from site to site untill blizz denies and changes it

May 17, 2007 - 2:06 pm [ Reply ]There is no highlight over Sholazar Basin. It is a jungle, it's not surprising it's green on the map. (Besides, a highlight would be yellow wouldn't it?)

May 17, 2007 - 12:37 am [ Reply ]ive noticed an important point of the bogus theory, the zone reads Sholazar Basin, which it shouldnt, the zone should only be selected when the player clicks upon that zone, as they click upon a continent
so it probably is fake, no offence intended, nice photoshop attempt but i doubt this is legitimate

May 16, 2007 - 11:09 am [ Reply ]This is bogus. If you noticed the various zones, the font used is not consistent with blizzard's standard font for the world maps.
Also on the bottom left corner the map is overlapping the
border, which doesn't happen at all, as the border/window is a container and the map is loaded within its window.
Yes there are things put into the wow data files on the ptr that make mention of northrend and such. But this map is bogus. nice work on the photoshop though.

May 14, 2007 - 10:16 pm [ Reply ]Of course it isn't legit... Blizzard hasn't even started thinking about putting Northrend in yet.
