Database Syndication

This page will be updated later with more information.

We have added two methods to syndicate our item database, which will soon be transferred to every database. We also have a third method planned which will be released later this evening.

You can now syndicate via XML or a simple HTML page (for use with a javascript or php include() call for example).

The links are on the "More Resources" section of each item page and look like the following:

These can also be shortened:

http://www.wowguru.com/db/syndicate/items/id20698.html
http://www.wowguru.com/db/syndicate/items/id20698.xml

To search by *exact name* case-insensitive, we've added a search page:

http://wowguru.com/db/syndicate.php?t=items&p=html&q=Hearthstone

t will accept any database, items, spells, mobs, quests
p will accept html and xml
q is your name

When we're finished later tonight we'll setup a guide for everyone who needs more information how these pages can be used.

The main advantage on using wowguru's syndication vs other sites, is that our data is completely cached. Which means that it should load instantly and won't bog down your site :)
