THE INSOMNIAX RECOMPILATION
Version 2.0.01 BETA II
December 8th, 2006 by Led Mirage
================================================== =============================
The Insomniax Recompilation is easy to setup and intended to be as much user friendly as possible, it compiles some of the best User Interface modification for World of Warcraft and it has changed a lot since the first version I released back in December of 2004 however the quality, attention to detail and commitment to our online community remains the same.

While a I put a lot of work is into maintaining and improving this compilation including some coding and artwork please do not forget that all the individual mods that make up the compilation come from many talented and different authors; for us mod authors credit for our work is more than often the only thing we will receive, please do not forget to give proper credit where is due, taking credit for someone else's work is not only rude, it's demoralizing and will only be detrimental in the development of mods. A big thank you goes out to each and every contributor in the mod community and a special thanks to all the authors who have allowed their work to be a part of this compilation. Thanks guys!

================================================== =============================
USER AGREEMENT:
(Last revised 12/07/2006)
================================================== =============================
1. You agree to this agreement by downloading and using any and all files and intellectual property contained in this compilation.
2. You agree to NOT discredit any Author of their original work found in this compilation, be it code, graphics or intellectual property.
4. You agree to NOT use any material found in this compilation for monetary gain, as it is against Blizzard's EULA agreement and it is NOT your right to make money off of other Author's work.
5. You may redistribute any and all files contained in this compilation ONLY if they remain unmodified, this user agreement is included and remains unmodified and proper credit to any and all Authors is given.
6. You may modify and redistribute any and all files contained in this compilation ONLY with the expressed written consent of any and all respective Authors.
7. If you do not agree then delete any and all files included in this compilation as well as previous and future versions of it, by doing this you implicitly agree to NOT use any and all material found in this compilation for any purpose.

================================================== =============================
INSTALLATION
================================================== =============================
It is highly recommended that you make a clean installation of the compilation. I personally put a lot of time into making sure the first initial default settings are as tolerable and user friendly as possible but only new users (or clean installations) would have noticed this; if you are an advanced user then use the Quick Installation method, otherwise you should use the Clean Installation method, both are explained below.

Quote:

 Clean Installation (Basic Users):

Use this method if you are new to mods and do not understand how mods work in World of Warcraft, this is the recommended procedure.
1. Exit the game

2. Delete all the contents of your ..World of WarcraftInterface folder

3. Make a Backup of your ..World of WarcraftWTF folder, you only need to do this if you want to have a backup of data from mods previously installed, for example Gatherer, Map Notes, etc.

4. Delete your ..World of WarcraftWTF folder

5. Delete your ..World of WarcraftCacheWDB folder

6. Launch the game without any mods installed and log into the game with one of your characters

7. Exit the game

8. Extract all the files from the Insomniax Recompilation Zip file making sure to use folder names and point to your root World of Warcraft folder.

9. Launch the game

Quote:

 Quick Installation (Advanced Users):

Use this method if you have a good understanding of how mods work in World of Warcraft and can easily solve common mod conflict issues on your own.
1. Exit the game

2. Delete all the contents of your ..World of WarcraftInterface folder

3. Extract all the files from the Insomniax Recompilation Zip file making sure to use folder names and point to your root World of Warcraft folder.

4. Launch the game

================================================== =============================
Known Issues and workarounds for Insomniax Recompilation v2.0.01 Beta II
================================================== =============================

MonkeyBuddy Menu Tabs work properly but the text for them is missing

When using the Right-Click menu on your pet to Dismiss it a Blizzard Prompt will come up asking you to Disable or Ignore Titan, choose Ignore or it will cascade into other mods. A temporary workaround for Hunters is to use the action button to dismiss their pet instead or for warlocks to begin summoning another pet.

When using the Right-Click menu on another player to Duel a Blizzard Prompt will come up asking you to Disable or Ignore Titan, choose Ignore or it will cascade into other mods. A simple workaround is to type /duel instead.

TipBuddy is in some rare instances attaching the tooltip permanently to the lower left are of the screen, if this or other tooltip anomalies happen to you please do your best to describe what caused so I can try and find the cause to this odd problem, currently TipBuddy was updated by me for the Insomniax Recompilation as the original author has abandoned the mod. If the problem persists, disable TipBuddy and use CT Core's tooltip relocation options instead.

================================================== =============================
