Version 9.8.2 default Notes - Released: April 07 2006
Default Version, no particular style pre-installed.
To download a style that is pre-installed, please visit: http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=478

- updated virtually every addon for the 1.10 patch
- fixed UUI registration code
- added multiple addons to the UUI menu
- removed the extra QME button
- fixed some weird-looking druidium styles
- more
Version 9.8.2 (Beta) Notes - Released: April 04 2006
Quick fix for patch 1.10
-MozzFullWorldMap seems to be a bit buggy; I left in the compilation for kicks because it still works technically you just gotta get the hang of learning how to refresh the map. Feel free to disable it if it bothers you.
- A quick update of most of the mods in UUI for patch 1.10. A few key mods I am still waiting for, such as DAB. When I get them I will add them to the compilation, do some final testing and updating (adding more stuff to the UUI config menu, probably getting rid of the UUI spellbook), and upload a v9.8.2 final.
Version 9.8.1 Notes - Released: February 27 2006
- Updated many many addons, including but not limited to:
- AllInOneInventory (no longer needs DynamicData dependancies!)
- Characters viewer (.79 -> .82)
- NotesUNeed
- MoveAnything (j10900)
- edited the size of the EW frame so that it's the same size as the CCWatch frames (stun watch). This makes timing abilities SO much easier for rogues and druids
- Edited Titan so the default scale is 80% and Titan Bar is fully non-transparent (you can still change it back should you choose)
- Added frame info for Reawakening into MoveAnything
- Removed Sea (no longer needed by Ultimate UI as a dependancy!)
- SuperInspect is back (looks far better now)
- Added CarnivalEnemyCastingBar (shows the casting bar of your enemy!)
- Added Lootlink with LootlinkAddDB (this is another one of those addons that use a significant amount more memory so make sure to up your Script Memory if you choose to use this or you might get disconnected.
- Enchanter AdShrinker (imo one of the helpful mods)
- Other stuff I probably forgot about (it has been a while) ^_^
Version 9.8.1 beta Notes - Released: February 26 2006

Version 9.8.0 Final3 Notes - Released: January 10 2006
>> Reawakening
I forgot to include the Predefinedframe settings for Reawakening in the last release of UUI. Sorry for the fans who were confused about how to set it up without those files. Please re-download UUI for the working version. :)

>> Discord Unit Frames (et al)
I've changed some of the settings in DUF in the resolutions already out. Some things include:
Party Frame:
- player name area larger, able to accept more characters, and easier to read
- health and mana bars shorter, value text on them actually fits on the bar now
- player rank icon now visible, along with player class and level
Target of Target / Pet
- health and mana/rage/energy bars now will fill up and deplete as intended

And tons of other minor fixes. I actually got the time to play with it for a few days so I saw all the little things that could be improved and, well... improved them! ;)

>> Widescreen Druidium
There are now files for Druidium that support W I D E S C R E E N RESOLUTION.
I've uploaded them to curse - read the instructions inside the zip file. These Widescreen Custom settings are in the Discord Custom Files zip at Curse-gaming (see link below). Because the screen is so wide I had to do some creative things with the limited art I had at hand; I did my best. :)
Version 9.8.0 Final2 Notes - Released: January 08 2006
If you have v9.8.0 Final you don't need this Final2 version.
All this has is the custom.lua files for Discord that allow you to use Discord at 1024 x 768.

WoWGuru won't let me overwrite previous versions. :(

Version 9.7.5 Notes - Released: October 11 2005 N/A
The patch had me release 9.7.5 a tad sooner than I intended, and it came with a host of problems. Most of them fixed, but one thing you might miss is GoodInspect. There should be no huge problems, and still there will and cannot be any errors, but like I said, it was released a tad hastily so there could be some freaky stuff going on.

some changes:
- Operation: Patch Day Addon Salvation
- moved all optional addons back to the addons folder (default state is supposedly working now)
- added confab, lschat,
- added optional addon "backdrop" for adding resizable backdrops to anywhere on the screen (coloring may not work yet, but alpha should)
- added NotesUNeed to optional addons
- self elite added back in, now saves correctly, and added an additional option to hide the playerframe texture completely
- added WatchTower Redux (updated version)
- modified TooltipsFrameTarget so that it processes slightly more efficienty

- fixed moveanything
- fixed and added Gypsy_unitbars back

Version 9.7.3b Notes - Released: September 14 2005 N/A
- fixed saving issue (which was actually a data retrieval issue)
- fixed altself cast
- fixed mobileframes

Honestly, not that much work but each problem took me hours just to find the root of the problem. :\
Version 9.7.3 (Beta) Notes - Released: September 14 2005 N/A
Lots of stuff, I'm so tired I can't remember all of it... I skipped sleep last night to work on this. :\

- PetBindings now just plugs right into SmartPet.
- reduced the huge Sea library down to two primary files
- tooltips (et al) don't work, will have to fix them in a future update
- gypsy_unitbars bugged out, was removed for now
- monkey speed doesn't work, temporarily removed

- by default, about 1/2 of UUI's addons are disabled. Enable and disable the ones you choose before logging in, or else those settings may be lost if you had them loaded previously.

- made the UUI options menu a bit nicer
- * future * remove all the unnecesary stuff from the menu system and fix the minor disply issues the current one has

- Due to lack of updates, poor functionality, and or dependancy issues, the following addons have been removed from UUI. Back up your own copies from previous version of UUI if you still want to use them:
o Betterkeybinding
o reagent helper
o popbar

- had to rewrite a ton of addons that had Sea dependancies, mostly commenting out lines which had certain Sea dependancies that weren't supported
- rewrote many of the hooking functions in many addons
- updated icon graphis for 5 or 6 addons in the uui spellbook
- removed wardrobe enabled/disabled text spam

- Added Call To Arms! A very useful group hosting / finding mod. Try it out!
Version 9.7.2 Notes - Released: August 31 2005 N/A
There is now only 1 version of UUI, and in this version are the files for both versions. This change was made for three reasons:
1. Some sites that I hosted UUI didn't allow for multiple file hosting, so many users who downloaded from those sites only ever saw one version of UUI.
2. Many users didn't understand exactly how to use the optional addons. Now that they are all in the correct location, all you have to do is enable them by checking the box next to their name in the Addons list at the character selection screen.
3. It's was a hassle to create two versions and zip up both and create a sfx archive for both.

When you start up WoW after installing this new version, make sure to go to the Addons list at the character selection screen and enable all the addons you want. It is very important to choose either style 1 or 2, the first being Original and the second being Perl. If you want the original version, make sure both are checked and perl is NOT checked. If you want to use the Perl version, make sure the 2 Perl files are checked and the Original files are not checked. There are also a host of other addons prefixed with "Optional" that you may choose to enable. Move your mouse over them to see what they do, and enable them as you please.

- added a tooltip to the panic bar to better explain what the panic bar is and how to hide it
- added various addons to the UUI spell book and or menu (wardrobe, sellvalue, some others)
- changed the borderstyle of combatstats to the "UI-Tooltip-Border" style used by much of the rest of the UI
- aioi is now enabled by default, you can disable it via the uui menu
- removed aioi from uui spellbook
- removed toggle anchors feature in mobileframes. Use moveanything instead!
- added a load of in-game help / hints via helpful tooltips particularly in the uui spellbook
- added healix
- added kc_items which replaces lootlink (Don't worry about your Lootlink database, it gets transfered to this new addon.) Advantage of KC_items: You will never get disconnected while browsing items in it. However, you can still get disconnected trying to link items that haven't been seen on a server. The only other downside is that the searching feature of kc_items is very limited at this point.
- added CT_Timer
- fixed ct_timer so it doesn't appear when you startup; it must be toggled by the user
- Added Ace
- fixed up UUI spell book to be more clear and descriptive
- cleaned out all the updateui.xml files

ON THE HORIZON:
New menu system
Version 9.6.5 (Beta) Notes - Released: July 31 2005 N/A
- attempted to redo the minimap to match perl (as it was before) but errors continue to exist so no changes there
- updated many mods, including but not limited to Quuspellalert, CT_Raidassist, titan, and combatstats
- the updated combatstats (from CTmod) shouldn't have the dropdown issue where stats were messed up
- the new combat stats tracks healing now as well
- created a new addon called "petbindings" for hunters that adds key bindings for many pet commands. look in better key bindings near the "p" section
- fixed the awkward positioning bug of the Ultimate UI menu
- updated all props frames and tooltips
- there is a bug with the tooltip becoming extra large when you open your aioi while mousing over certain objects, if and only if you had used moveanything to relocate the tooltip. this can be completely avoided by using gymnast, which was thus put back into UUI to solve this minor bug.
- the durability frame is still green, the source of the problem is mobile frames, this hasn't been fixed but it's not a horrible bug so just hold on a bit longer :)
- multiple map coordinates being displayed... thus worldmap info was moved to optional addons
- added red-out to the gypsy version, (with the perl version, redout is built into flexbar)
Version 9.6.4 (Beta) Notes - Released: July 18 2005 N/A
- added bgassist
- changed the styling options
- made the basiccontrols framexml hack much more simple
- completely redid the tooltipframe addon (applies to be who donated, mostly)
- added target of target to the gypsy version
- other stuff
Version 9.6.3 (Beta) Notes - Released: July 14 2005 N/A
- update for patch
- added version number of UUI to addons list
Version 9.6.2 (Beta) Notes - Released: July 09 2005 N/A
- fixed battlegrounds queue issue
- added back cursor and player coordinates to map (WorldMapInfo)
- minor style fixes (perl fixes that hide the party frame more often, etc)
Version 9.6.1 (Beta) Notes - Released: July 01 2005 N/A
This is a beta version!

As noted in the forums, this version of Ultimate UI is a huge style upgrade. Although the Gypsy_Unitbars issue was finally solved, several helpful forum goers showed me this "Perl", which I must say I like quite a bit. It has most of the features of the Gypsy_unitbars (save one, it has to do with mousing over a party members buff - you can't find out its info) and then a few more that Gypsy does not have. Fear not, if you are a Gypsy fan, you can still download the working gypsy files from a sticky on the forums. Other changes:
- added nymbia's Perl
- added decursive
- did the standard update of all the mods
- edited tons of mods and parts of the standard ui to match the perl look (which I altered slightly to stand out more)
- upgraded from avgxp to avgxp plus
- added moveanything
- added mobhealth2
- added a raid folder in the optional addons section
Version 9.6.0 Notes - Released: June 15 2005 N/A
- I just entirely ditched the NoErrors addon that I was working on, it was buggy because the action it needed to catch didn't have an event and hooking the error function seemed to have problems so I just made a simple FrameXML hack that hides all errors. Simply delete BasicControls.xml in your framexml directory if for some odd reason you want to see script errors.
- Updated .toc files.
- moved ImprovedErrorFrame to optional addons because you won't be needing to see errors anymore.
- Updated Titanpanel
- Updated Flexbar
Version 9.5.4c <--the real c Notes - Released: June 08 2005 N/A
- updated customhidebars so that it hides all the dragicons but the main action bars'
Version 9.5.4c (Beta) Notes - Released: June 08 2005 N/A
- finally made a working addon (now separate from ImprovedErrorFrame) that hides errors
- added an option in CustomHidebar to hide the icons (technically the bars are "locked", but you still can't move them so it works just as well
- updated the first button in the UUI quickbox to go straight to the UUI configuration menu, rather than showing the information box
- updated all optionaladdon ## interface numbers
- corrected the version number of in the UUI SpellBook
- for now, buff timers is being moved to "not working" because buffs are being stretched and time is not displaying under the correct buffs in many cases. Blizzard has a built in buff timer (See interface options), though not as good.
Version 9.5.4b Notes - Released: June 07 2005 N/A
- fixed those two errors at startup
- had to drop biggerquestlog til it is fixed
Version 9.5.4 Notes - Released: June 07 2005 N/A
- fixed IEF, it should as of now hide all errors. This feature can be turned off as well.
- reverted to old Gypsy files, in 9.5.2, hopefully fixing this crazy player/target/party frames issue
- added monkeyspeed (warning, when you toggle it, it may appear in the area BEHIND your Titan Bar, so hide the titan bar and drag it out when you enable it
- updated all toc files to appropriate game version
Version 9.5.3 * (see below) Notes - Released: May 26 2005 N/A
* I've been away for sometime, and as soon as I got back I was pressed with questions about problems that I thought I had solved in a previous release, but I'm not totally sure at this point, it was too long ago.
So anyways, this is my latest version, fixes many of the bugs that people asked me about. Now, if you are one of those people, feel free to download this latest version. If your current UUI setup is working fine, there is really no need to download this update, but the choice is yours. There aren't any changes that most people will see - mostly bug fixes, moved around some files, started adding version numbers to titles of the addons, updated flexbar and quuspellalert, and then some.

So again, if your UUI setup is working fine, you do not need to update. I will release a better, more complete update down the road sometime (soon, I hope).

Thanks for your patience. :)

- added credits docs

- Other misc changes
Version 9.21 Notes - Released: April 16 2005 N/A

- Moved clock/framerate/worldmapinfo to optionaddons (titan bar does it all)
- Updated to the latest atlas
- Added a ton of readme/help files in the interface folder with more detailed instructions on how to use the "hidden" features of UUI

- Moved friends facts to not working, as it was causing some weird errors every once and a while
- Moved some stuff around, made things look pretty...
Version 9.11 Notes - Released: April 08 2005 N/A
Now includes the needed files to work with the UpdateUI tool
Version 9.1 Notes - Released: April 02 2005 N/A
- added framerate (shows framerate in a small movable frame)
- added relinker (allows you to relink items seen in chat by shift clicking the link)
- added itemcount (in optional addons, removes * from items with more than 99 and shows actually value)
- added CT_MailMod (mass mailing system)
- added CT_RaidAssist (needed for raids)
- added CustomHideBar (remove default action)
- added Archaeologist (status bar text and stuff)
- Fixed the UUI Spellbook and UUI Quick-box buttons so they are now incredibly clickable by all means. No more trying to find a weird location to click the icons. ;)
- Changed the DefaultState of all gypsy addons to disabled. If you want to use them now you have to manually enable them at the character selection screen. Why? Because MobileFrames lets you move all the frames (actually more) that gypsy can, and now with Custom Hide Bar you can hide your actionbar and bags, etc. See the options in for both in the UUI Menu ("Action Bar Options" and "Mobile Frames").
- Fixed the registration of a few addons into the UUI menu
- updated several addons (goodinspect, for example, now lets you inspect members of the opposite faction)
Version 9.0 (Beta) Notes - Released: March 29 2005 N/A
- Sorted through the old cosmos menu, removed stuff where I could, removed dependances on everything except sea (which is used for a few other addons, so I decided to keep that dependency).
In other words: YOUR LOVELY UUI MENU IS BACK!
- mixed and matched addons again now that sea is restored
- Restored the old spellbook style menu too (now works)
- added/recoded in a BUNCH of stuff into the ol' spellbook
- removed framerate
- Added altselfcast
- Added Alphamap
- Added ImprovedErrorFrame
- Added Notepad (still need to decide whether to take out NoteIt or not)
- Added back Reagent Helper
- *drum roll please* added back popbar! A ton of people IM'ed me to add it back, and I was so hesistant, but after a few good chats with some very bright individuals they convinced me it had features that flexbar couldn't duplicate, so it is back.
- Fixed off-positioning of buttons
- made UUI Features frame close remain hidden on startup
- With sea back, UUI is now able to go back to the old, stable tooltip style
- recoded in the props for the tooltips (for those who donated money)
- organized UUI docs into a documentation folder
- Updated GlueXML files so you can now disable the Login music and set the fade-in time

- Added MapCoords
- Added InforBar
- Added AvgXP
- Added Infobar

Nathan, i think what a lot of ppl are reffering to as not working is the druidium artwork itself.
uui works perfectly, but i dont think that the druidium artwork is packaged with the post
bc uui. the ui artwork is new and different, and a lot of ppl were wanting to use the druidium pakage. i have uui, and its works great, best ui ive used to date, but i cannot find, nor do i think that druidium art is available in this version? i looked in the uui art folder and didnt see
any of the druidium artwork. can you elaborate? is this true or am i missing something?
please post, because i would really like to use the undead theme from druidium, best ui
art ive seen, used with model citazen, makes for an outstanding looking ui.

please help! there is an old and the current version of uui. is the druidium art only packaged with the old version i guess is what im asking. i even went as far as re-designing the undead theme using a .tga file, but alas, after adding it to my custom dart textures, it didnt show up, in fact, nothing i made did. am i doing something wrong?
they all have the correct alpha channels, etc, etc, but maybe it has something to do with a .lua file that needs to be replaced?

Haha...I set up the whole thing...and for some reason...i can't logout or use the /exit command...i have to forcibly exit the program, and relog to change characters...any tips would be nice, otherwise i'll just use this as to make myself focus on 1 character at a time and not drift to others :)

For anyone that's interested I have solved my problem, thanks to someone in-game. Basically you copy the contents of the UUI into the Interface folder in your WoW directory. Then launch the game and log in. On the character selection page there is an "Addons" button, click it and select which addons to use. Hope this helps.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me please? I've downloaded the latest UUI from here but just don't seem to be able to get it working. Anyone able to explain how to install it correctly?

I'm having 3 problems with this mod, maybe you all could help me-

1. I can't logout or Exit Game from the main menu in WoW. Any mod I can turn off to fix this?

2. Sometimes when inspecting, an item's stat window will pop up on the top left hand screen and be there permanently.

3. The map mod won't let me view zones I'm not in. Sometimes it shows always unexplored, but that is always fixable by checking and unchecking "show map as unexplored" in the menu options.

Other than that, this is the best mod I have ever used.

Yeah, uhm, it might not hurt to toss in very basic instructions on how to actually install it instead of just having the user a pile of files and folders and just leaving them completely on their own.

Quick problem.... You know on the top left corner of the screen, you're character's picture, HP/MP (rage/energy) points are shown? Well.... It isn't showing. I have no clue how to get it to pop back up except for to turn all my mods off.

Please help me out -- I'm sorry to be a bother!

I have the same problem as Shard.... Except for me it's when I sell and then buy something.... Then I have to restart the game for it to go away. Its not a huge deal but it's kind of annoying when I look at one of piece of my armor and the stat is blocked out buy a cash amount. Any way I can fix this? XD

Everytime I fly, the money icon, of the amount I spent, shows for the rest of the time on places like how many slots my bag has, what class a character is I am looking at, whether I can pick the lock. I have to reset my game to make this go away. Any suggestions?

There is no "they". It is one person working on this compilation. He's a pretty busy guy IRL I hear but he does what he can to release quick fixes.

Speaking of quick fixes, 9.8.2 release is up.

Great job in getting this out quickly. Still needs work, Map is blank unless you select showing unexplored areas. If you change regions on the map, it won't appear properly. Can't wait for the other items that didn't get up dated to be updated. Keep up the good work.

d14ca.
If you have the latest version of UUI (and hence, DAB). In the options page go to your actionbar, bar (bar1). On the top go to the advanced tab. In the dropdown box select "enter shapeshift form". In the second drop down box select the stance you want. In the next drop down box select "Change page", then input the page number. Add this script. Do this for the 3 stances.

This will make your actionbar switch pages when you switch stances. Look around on that page, and check out all the drop down boxs to get fimiliar with what they do (theres alot of options, but they are very straightforward). You can make your buttons, and your bars, do some pretty neat stuff.

I have the druidium setup and I can't get the target health to show up a actual numbers, only percentages. How do I fix this? I have used Discord Unit Frames and it looks right as far as the text variables go but it doesn't look right to me.

Thanks

Well ... the night elf graphix have not been released yet .. just the default druidium/reawakening/and simpleton ones have been thus far. I believe that Nathanmx is still working on tweaking all of the other graphix.

I have tried over and over, read your posts and setup guide. And still I cant get the Night Elf theme to load. And chance you can better explain this? Or can you include and Savevariables and Layoutcache in the download? I think the way you have yours set up in the pics is perfect for my playstyle.

@ cooldown count guy

All the styles of UUI (besides just the default) use Discord Action Bars, and that has cooldowncount built in.
